녹색에너지전략연구소는 재생에너지를 중심으로 한 에너지 전환을 위해 재생에너지 확대와
산업 육성을 위한 정책 연구, 수용성 제고 연구, 재생에너지 기반 전력시장 분석 연구 등을
수행하고 있습니다. 또한 계량적 분석을 통한 정책제안을 위해서 에너지시스템 모델링 분석(Decarbonization, Sector Coupling)을 특화하고 있고, 재생에너지 분야 다양한 기관 및
이해관계자와 긴밀한 네트워크를 구축하고 있습니다.
Green Energy Strategy Institute(GESI), founded in 2009, is bringing independent expertises to progress the Korean energy system. GESI delivers policy recommendations and provides independent and transparent analysis for the expansion of renewables in South Korea. The main research topics of GESI are energy system modeling analysis, social acceptance of renewable energy, energy transition policy, and electricity market analysis. GESI also has a very close network with other organizations in the renewable energy sector, such as NGOs, government, and several research institutes.
